Our Draft Water Resources Management Plan (dWRMP) defines our strategy to achieve a long-term, best value and sustainable plan for water supplies in the North West. Our dWRMP24 plans for an adequate supply to meet demand from 2025 to 2085, and a supply system that is resilient to drought.

Water Resource Management Plans are updated every five years. We have now published our new draft Water Resources Management Plan for consultation and welcome your views on it. Documents can be found at our website here. This consultation will be open for 14 weeks until the 15th March 2023.

We will be running three consultation events (two virtual and one in-person) in January to present our draft plan and host a Q&A session. Please click on one of the links below if you would like to receive an invitation to one of our events and we will keep you posted when our plan is live:
